Nationwide's comment:

In response to Beam Me Up: Thank you for your feedback. As you mention, many of our members have requested through this Talking Point that they would like to see the internet bank showing the current interest rates for Savings Accounts. Nationwide is committed to acting upon customer feedback to improve our services and we’re pleased to confirm that this feedback is being acted upon. We are looking at implementing this during Autumn 2012.

Please would you show the current interest rate being paid on the account screen for all Savings Accounts. This informatoin is readily available on many competitor's sites and has been requested a number of times on this site, indeed, judging by the number of "Agrees" it appears to be one of the most sought after upgrades. Please can you advise when this simple members' request will be acted upon.

I am liking the site more and more as I get used to it. I used to use MS Money, but stopped when you withdrew support. Is it possible to have some form of analysis available on the site so that I can group my transactions for analysis of my spending and income? Thank you.

In response to Norfolkman: Thank you for your comment. I’m pleased to confirm that OFX is available for FlexAccount. To access this, you need to be in Full Statement view instead of mini statement. I hope this helps.

Today I have downloaded to MS Money my Nationwide Credit card transactions via an OFX file with no problem. But when trying to download transactions for my Nationwide FlexAccount there is no option for OFX format only CVS! Is OFX downloads avaible for FlexAccount. (I do realise that Nationwide does not support MS Money any longer)

It would be very useful to have search facility to find a specific transaction either by shop name or amount.

I think it would be good if you could choose your own log in details rather than just using a customer number

Nationwide's comment:

In response to CP: Thank you for your feedback. We made a decision to withdraw support for Microsoft Money when Microsoft themselves withdrew support for the product. Whilst we understand that that this product was a really useful tool for some of our members to manage their money, we had to provide considerable resource to deal with queries. We will therefore not be re-introducing the facility to download directly into Money, but have found that many customers have welcomed the new .ofx download option.

Now that you offer OFX downloads for statements (found by accident - not widely published), which can be imported directly to MS Money, is there any chance of you allowing and publishing connections to allow MS Money to automatically download the files into Money as we used to be able to? The last UK edition was MS Money 2005 (abandoned by Microsoft) a bit old, but still works well in Windows 7! Please re-instate this really valuable facility as it made life so much easier, instead of having to download files first. However, having OFX files is a vast improvement over just CSV files, as they are immediately accepted correctly by Money. I would also suggest that you publicise much more actively, the availability of OFX files, as I was not aware you had re-instated them. Come On Nationwide, we want the BEST Internet Banking, not nearly the best.

In repsonse to Slugslime: Thank you for your suggestion. Providing interest rate information within the Internet Bank is something that we are currently investigating. We will update you once these investigations have concluded. We're committed to acting on customer feedback so please do keep your suggestions coming.
