Nationwide’s guide to shopping online safely

22 March 2012: For some people, shopping online can be the most convenient and best value way to shop or buy goods.  From the comfort of your own home you may wish to browse the Internet for goods and compare prices between online retailers. 

If your son, daughter, or other young relative is old enough to manage their own money, it’s likely that they will also be interested in shopping online, having been exposed to the Internet from an early age.  As a result, Nationwide Education – our education resource for parents, teachers and students – has created an entertaining short video for young people teaching them how to shop online safely.

The video explains to young viewers how to ensure a retailer’s website is secure, how to check their own balance on the Internet Bank and how to shop safely online.
